Severiano Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute Benito Naldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 33 minutes on the clock, Tony Passos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th match minute, Abutres 2003 FDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Passos to maneuver through the defense. Madison's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Cristóvão de Salles scored to the left of an out of position Severiano Rafe, making the score, 1-1. Madison walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
