Elpidio Richie helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Edgardo Cordarrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Handi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 10th minute Benito Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Vende Humo got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Dayam. Nemesio Handi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edgardo Cordarrel. In the 20th match minute, Vende Humo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Arias to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Vende Humo's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Beat came free, but Nemesio Handi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vende Humo's Nemesio Handi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Edwardo in the 22nd minute of play. Nemesio Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Altos Gatos FC booed when Vende Humo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Richie hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Altos Gatos FC! Sorin Spelbu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Altos Gatos FC's Edgardo Cordarrel tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vende Humo's Elpidio Richie managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramon Egoitz in the 37 minute of the game. Edgardo Cordarrel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Nemesio Handi made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Benito Saturnin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vende Humo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 46th minute, Ramon Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Semeno was the one to do the kick off. Esteve Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ismael Nafarroa fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vende Humo's protests and gave Ismael Nafarroa a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Nafarroa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Edgardo Cordarrel didn't quite understand what happened when in the 54 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Nemesio Handi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Edwardo went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Nemesio Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Nemesio Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
