Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wade Stacy took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Charlotte FC got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Miranda. Jessie Amos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Murillo in the 7th minute of the match. Jessie Amos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Charlotte FC defense, Godofredo Rik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jessie Amos. The Charlotte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jessie Amos should have stopped the shot. Jessie Amos came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Fe's Maxi Rodriguez. But to his dismay, Maxi Rodriguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Toro Murillo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jessie Amos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Fe. Dalton Ash hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Santa Fe getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Venancio Bertol hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Roque Roso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jessie Amos. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. The Santa Fe fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Santa Fe's Roque Roso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jessie Amos made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Maxi Rodriguez sent off a good shot on target. Charlotte FC's Wade Stacy got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Jessie Amos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Roso. Charlotte FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Toro Murillo 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. Jessie Amos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxi Rodriguez went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roque Roso was the one to do the kick off. Jessie Amos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roque Roso went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Jessie Amos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Toro Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jessie Amos. Charlotte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. 63 minutes into the match, Sandro Coisne notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Charlotte FC's Jessie Amos. Jessie Amos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Roque Roso made a precise shot to the right of Jessie Amos. Charlotte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Jessie Amos came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Fe's Toro Murillo. But to his dismay, Toro Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Santa Fe were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Charlotte FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roque Roso took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Charlotte FC's goalie and right to Toro Murillo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Charlotte FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 84 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliott Pépin came free, but Jessie Amos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jessie Amos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Coisne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Santa Fe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 15-0. If Toro Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santa Fe fully deserved thier win.
