Spectators: 7622 (Terracing: 5719, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 150) Charlotte FC's Wade Stacy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Hernan Uzuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Madison getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Faustino Avellaneda hit a great ball. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Christian Carney hit a great ball. Jessie Amos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Benito Naldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jessie Amos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jessie Amos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jessie Amos was a little too slow when Aristides Lorencio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Benito Naldo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jessie Amos to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the game, Brahim Boutabout recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jessie Amos. Brahim Boutabout showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Jessie Amos was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Hernan Uzuri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hernan Uzuri really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. In the 37th minute, Johnathan Mohr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jessie Amos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Lorencio in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Madison's Benito Naldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jessie Amos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the game, Hernan Uzuri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jessie Amos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hernan Uzuri scored 9-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jessie Amos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Naldo in the 69th minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Jessie Amos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Benito Naldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Jessie Amos came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Madison's Aristides Lorencio. But to his dismay, Aristides Lorencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. In the 80th minute, Hernan Uzuri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jessie Amos was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. In the 83rd minute, Hernan Uzuri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jessie Amos was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Jessie Amos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Naldo's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Brahim Boutabout ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jessie Amos was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Jessie Amos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jessie Amos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Naldo in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Hernan Uzuri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jessie Amos. Charlotte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Uzuri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0.
