Ivan Bernad scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Pedro dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Bernad in the 39th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper João Pedro dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half LTA FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Wambalamba FC's João Pedro dos Santos got control of the ball when Ivan Bernad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wambalamba FC's João Pedro dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them.
