In the 40th minute, Emil Unesson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arsenio Maiorga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 44th minute of the match, Martin Palermo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Three De Four saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Honung's La I got a free kick in the 50th minute. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Martin Palermo sped through Honung's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Three De Four. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Erico in the 59th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Three De Four to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Three De Four took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Erico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Ivan Bernad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Three De Four. Honung's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Bernad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
