The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gilmar Passos hit a great ball. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Carlos Fernando da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute Miradeses FC were awarded a corner. Júlio Lameirinhas went to the cornerflag to take it. When Orlando Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s protests and gave Orlando Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Paraíba hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Carlos Fernando da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Lamego in the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s zone, Pascoal Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando da Cunha came out of the goal and Pascoal Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Rui Lamego scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Fernando da Cunha, making the score, 1-0. Teodoro Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascoal Amaral in the 23rd minute of play forced TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Carlos Fernando da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Rui Lamego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerónimo Espírito Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilton Costa went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Miradeses FC's Rui Lamego in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 46th minute Teodoro Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerónimo Espírito Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerónimo Espírito Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Costa in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilton Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Fernando da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascoal Amaral in the 52nd minute of play. Jerónimo Espírito Santo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilton Costa in the 54th minute. Nilton Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jerónimo Espírito Santo came out and tried to block the shot, but Nilton Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 54th minute. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Nando Breckenfeld got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jerónimo Espírito Santo. When Gusmão Menezes fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miradeses FC's protests and gave Gusmão Menezes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- booed when Miradeses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gusmão Menezes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Teodoro Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerónimo Espírito Santo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Gusmão Menezes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascoal Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Carlos Fernando da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcino Peralta hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Orlando Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Miradeses FC's Januário Castelo Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Fernando da Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilton Costa got free with Jerónimo Espírito Santo in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Although Miradeses FC had been in control for most of the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- still came away with the win.
