Fulgencio Larpe came out of the goal and Dário Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lázaro Pedroso's late challenge caught a Wambalamba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Pedroso helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes KPO BIZARRO got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Pedroso. João Pedro dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Sedeni in the 11th minute of play. Lion Messi took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Pedro dos Santos. João Pedro dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Lion Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KPO BIZARRO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lion Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Wambalamba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KPO BIZARRO were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Máximo Cabezon was the one to do the kick off.
