Zekeriya Ocakoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Neil Deguara hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, AYYILDIZ's Marcelo Severiano threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Recep Sanal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hugon Debowski kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AYYILDIZ defense, Martin Mangion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bektaş Ali Enginalp. The AYYILDIZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bektaş Ali Enginalp should have stopped the shot. Sliema Dragons FC's Christopher Talbot got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Mangion hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Martin Mangion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sliema Dragons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Bektaş Ali Enginalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Grimaud, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sliema Dragons FC from getting a goal against them. Bektaş Ali Enginalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Grimaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bektaş Ali Enginalp came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Julian Savona. But to his dismay, Julian Savona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Bektaş Ali Enginalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Borg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Onur Ali Zülfikar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Martin Mangion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AYYILDIZ's Bektaş Ali Enginalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bektaş Ali Enginalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Savona, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of AYYILDIZ booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Scalpello didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Onur Ali Zülfikar in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Severiano saved Sliema Dragons FC from getting behind. Bektaş Ali Enginalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Mangion in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bektaş Ali Enginalp. That made the score 0-6 after 70 minutes of play. Bektaş Ali Enginalp was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Julian Savona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Savona really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. In the 77th match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luigi Muscat to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes, AYYILDIZ's Muammer Adalı shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelo Severiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AYYILDIZ reached it. 83 minutes into the game, Jurgen Montalto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sliema Dragons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AYYILDIZ the free kick. The supporters of AYYILDIZ booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurgen Montalto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Muammer Adalı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Severiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hugon Debowski's late challenge caught a AYYILDIZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugon Debowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Hugon Debowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Recep Sanal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Severiano. Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Martin Mangion notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of AYYILDIZ's Bektaş Ali Enginalp. Bektaş Ali Enginalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 96 played minutes Julian Savona rounded AYYILDIZ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. Sliema Dragons FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
