OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Wieczorek in the 6th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Lazcano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Krzysztof Wieczorek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ovidio Oto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Wy-pas's Krzysztof Wieczorek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Oto. That made the score 0-6 after 59 minutes of play. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Wieczorek, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ovidio Oto made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Krzysztof Wieczorek sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIACOS FC's Cirilo Chayo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Wy-pas made a substitution. Roman Majkowski replaced Roman Krzynowek. Krzysztof Wieczorek struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ovidio Oto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wy-pas. When Haroldo Etxahun fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OLYMPIACOS FC's protests and gave Haroldo Etxahun a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wy-pas booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Etxahun didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto got control of the ball when Krzysztof Wieczorek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Oto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Wieczorek in the 72nd minute. Ovidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Mentus in the 73rd minute of the match. Elpidio Brais hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes Wy-pas got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Plachetka. In the 78th minute, Ludomil Plachetka shot a free kick towards goal which, to his disappointment, went just outside the left post. Radomir Mentus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Oto having to make a save. After having played for 85 minutes, Krzysztof Wieczorek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wy-pas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krzysztof Wieczorek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Wy-pas's Krzysztof Wieczorek. But to his dismay, Krzysztof Wieczorek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Wieczorek got free with Ovidio Oto in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 minutes OLYMPIACOS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wawrzyniec Furtok who took care of the corner kick. When Radomir Mentus fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wy-pas's protests and gave Radomir Mentus a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Wy-pas getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Radomir Mentus hit a great ball. When the match was over Wy-pas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than OLYMPIACOS FC throughout the match.
