Spectators: 7384 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 7) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miltos Theriaklis started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Miltos Theriaklis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Rähn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Rähn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Theriaklis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ralf Ojasaar's late challenge caught a Go Ahead Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Ojasaar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute Vaios Sakoulidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Rähn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Rähn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltos Theriaklis in the 14th minute of the match. Themistoklis Charalambakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukasz Bendyk in the 20th minute. When Amneesia's Lukasz Bendyk in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Go Ahead Eagles's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Death in the 22nd minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Themistoklis Charalambakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Amneesia getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Heino Leigo hit a great ball. Go Ahead Eagles's Themistoklis Charalambakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Go Ahead Eagles from getting a goal against them. Themistoklis Charalambakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Death, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiang Peng Lin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Themistoklis Charalambakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soulis Xanthakos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Kiur Kaiklem put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Amneesia's Kiur Kaiklem got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Death stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Amneesia booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Papakostopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themistoklis Charalambakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Peng Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jiang Peng Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Minas Petrochilos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Death in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themistoklis Charalambakis saved Go Ahead Eagles from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Angel Death ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Themistoklis Charalambakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 80 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Peng Lin came free, but Themistoklis Charalambakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Lakis Patsoureas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Lakis Patsoureas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jiang Peng Lin in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Themistoklis Charalambakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Go Ahead Eagles's zone, Aigar Pentus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Themistoklis Charalambakis came out of the goal and Aigar Pentus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Go Ahead Eagles's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
