Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Wargön's Kenneth Lange started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Eustaquio Abendano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Cresitobalo Abarca. In the 27th minute, Wictor Pihlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melker Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Abendano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meendez Abeita's late challenge caught a Wargön's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meendez Abeita helped the player get up and apologised. Meendez Abeita hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nacional Potosí booed when Wargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Wargön defense, Eustaquio Abendano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melker Benet. The Wargön fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melker Benet should have stopped the shot. Nacional Potosí's Valery Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Lange in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Abendano made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Wargön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Pihlberg to maneuver through the defense. Eustaquio Abendano in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melker Benet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sivert Bollström struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Valery Abecia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wargön. Valery Abecia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 54th minute of the match. Valery Abecia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenneth Lange went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Valery Abecia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 58th minute of the match. Marcelito Abadie kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Wargön's goalkeeper Melker Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillen Aballe. In the 63rd minute Kenneth Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valery Abecia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bengt-Rune Törnkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melker Benet came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Potosí's Eustaquio Abendano. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Abendano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Stig-Arne Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Criston Abendano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Melker Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melker Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Melker Benet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Abendano went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Melker Benet was a little too slow when Criston Abendano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-7. Valery Abecia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Bollström in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Guillen Aballe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional Potosí and the Wargön players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nacional Potosí's Valery Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Lange in the 94th minute of play.
