After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Escalada's zone, Criston Abendano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Sugoi came out of the goal and Criston Abendano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nacional Potosí's Cordeara Abenda got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillen Aballe in the 13th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Angelo Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Criston Abendano in the 14th minute of the match. Angelo Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillen Aballe in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Guillen Aballe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Sugoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillen Aballe got free with Angelo Sugoi in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillen Aballe in the 27th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Angelo Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Eustaquio Abendano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional Potosí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 30 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Abendano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Angelo Sugoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angelo Sugoi was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Eustaquio Abendano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eustaquio Abendano really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Guillen Aballe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Angelo Sugoi made a huge save. Talleres de Escalada's Angelo Sugoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Talleres de Escalada from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Nacional Potosí's Cordeara Abenda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Sugoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Fresco to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nacional Potosí booed when Talleres de Escalada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talleres de Escalada's Angelo Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Abendano in the 55th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Bernardo Fresco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talleres de Escalada and the Nacional Potosí players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Talleres de Escalada getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eusebio Tibalt hit a great ball. After 75 minutes of play, Nacional Potosí's Eustaquio Abendano made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Sugoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Talleres de Escalada's Angelo Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Abendano in the 78th minute of play. The Nacional Potosí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Angelo Sugoi came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Potosí's Cordeara Abenda. But to his dismay, Cordeara Abenda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Nacional Potosí players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
