In the 8th minute Hamza Bayındır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamza Bayındır scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Calvino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Muharrem Özcam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfried Ferdi in the 23rd minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Lon to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Lon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamza Bayındır in the 32nd minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfried Ferdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Bora Mutluhan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino. Prospero Calvino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Locaio was the one to do the kick off. Prospero Calvino was a little too slow when Bora Mutluhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Muharrem Özcam came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Rafaela FC's Juan Perpinya. But to his dismay, Juan Perpinya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 60th minute, Edgard Lon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rafaela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After having played for 67 minutes, Juan Perpinya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Perpinya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Edgard Lon made a precise shot to the right of Muharrem Özcam. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Zeledon Locaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Muharrem Özcam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Ivan Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfried Ferdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Prospero Calvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamza Bayındır went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Prospero Calvino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 83 played minutes SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi got a freekick which was hit by Özal Barbaros. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Juan Perpinya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Perpinya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muharrem Özcam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Lon scored 4-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Muharrem Özcam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Prospero Calvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamza Bayındır. Zeledon Locaio took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muharrem Özcam. Muharrem Özcam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. Rafaela FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi for a fine match.
