Angelo Sugoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 55 minutes into the game, Rafaela FC's Juan Perpinya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Sugoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 61st minute, Juan Perpinya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Sugoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 64th minute, Edgard Lon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rafaela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 70th minute Edgard Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Amato in the 72nd minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Angelo Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Edgard Lon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelo Sugoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Edgard Lon came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Rafaela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Lon couldn't finish the play. Talleres de Escalada's Angelo Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Perpinya in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Pastor Ostadar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Juan Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Gustavo Amato got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Belarmo came free, but Prospero Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes of play Rafaela FC's Gustavo Amato was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 98th minute, Gustavo Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rafaela FC had played much better football throughout.
