Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eustaquio Abendano started the match with the kick off. Alfonso Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Criston Abendano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Nacional Potosí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresitobalo Abarca to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Samuel Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valery Abecia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Abendano in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Abel. Valery Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Belasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Belasko in the 25th minute of play forced Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Valery Abecia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valery Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Kismi in the 28th minute of play. Edgardo Bertran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valery Abecia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Cresitobalo Abarca got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Ermegildo Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Criston Abendano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacional Potosí's Valery Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Kismi in the 44th minute of play. Xabier Abaurre hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Abendano in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RED DEVIL made a substitution. Leonel Enaut replaced Ermegildo Jerrald. RED DEVIL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Erauso in the 63rd minute. Valery Abecia made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Danilo Dominguez sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Leonel Enaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillen Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alfonso Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Guillen Aballe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Enaut in the 79th minute of play forced Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Valery Abecia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacional Potosí's Valery Abecia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Nacional Potosí from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
