In the 25th match minute, Zola Predosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Giardino to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Spinosa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Anselmo Felli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Pisarcik, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gustavo Souza came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anselmo Felli could save by the left post. Luciano Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anthony Palombi's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Francesco Ciccone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zola Predosa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EDI MZB the free kick. In the 47th minute, Christian Meo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 72 played minutes, EDI MZB's Didi Mesquita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anselmo Felli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EDI MZB reached it. Anselmo Felli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Pisarcik in the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes EDI MZB got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Maia. EDI MZB's Luciano Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Ciccone in the 80th minute of play. Luciano Matos came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Zola Predosa FC's Anthony Palombi. But to his dismay, Anthony Palombi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zola Predosa FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
