Corinthians Paulista's Ricardinho Catarinense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestor Paraibano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C. Corinthians Paulista reached it. After some careless play in the Magnifico FC - FSCMZ defense, David Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Paraibano. The Magnifico FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Paraibano should have stopped the shot. Alan Machado hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Nestor Paraibano was a little too slow when David Fernandez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-3. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Luiz Fábio Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Senna in the 90th minute of play.
