If Rafael Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Tales Siqueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Clodio. After 23 minutes, Rafael Clodio made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Vivaldo Loureiro got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the game, SeleSantos FC's Vivaldo Loureiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Patxi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Rafael Clodios short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Tales Siqueira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 38th minute Vivaldo Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Vivaldo Loureiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Patxi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio do Vale in the 43rd minute of play forced EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Patxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Edgard Herauso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL PEPO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SeleSantos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, EL PEPO FC's Edgard Herauso got a free kick in the 44th minute. José Fernandez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Patxi. EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cássio do Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Bide to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Patxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo de Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melquiades Patxi came out and tried to block the shot, but Abelardo de Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 56th minute. Rafael Clodio took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tales Siqueira. Tales Siqueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. EL PEPO FC's Tomás Satordi was substituted for Eustacio Loren. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 4-4 when Cássio do Vale sped through EL PEPO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Patxi. Vivaldo Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Patxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Loureiro in the 78th minute of play. Rafael Clodio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Tales Siqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL PEPO FC. When SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EL PEPO FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio do Vale got free with Melquiades Patxi in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
