The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Magnifico FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio do Vale got free with Nestor Paraibano in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Trevisan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nestor Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Linhares came free, but Tales Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Nestor Paraibano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio do Vale. Vivaldo Loureiro had several of the Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Nestor Paraibano as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Pedrão Falcão fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SeleSantos FC's protests and gave Pedrão Falcão a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SeleSantos FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Pedrão Falcão hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match Richard Senna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tales Siqueira skillfully saved the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Abelardo de Moraes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Paraibano, 3-0. In the 47th minute, Dorian Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Linhares was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Linhares came free, but Tales Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio do Vale in the 64th minute of play forced Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Nestor Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Vivaldo Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Paraibano was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes, Dorian Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magnifico FC - FSCMZ and the SeleSantos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Magnifico FC - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Richard Linhares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nestor Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio do Vale in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that SeleSantos FC were the better team. SeleSantos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
