The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Siqueira should have stopped the shot. Tales Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Cássio do Vale made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, SeleSantos FC's Marcelinho Coelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélio Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After having played for 67 minutes, Evaristo Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icoara Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Abelardo de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélio Siqueira. Hélio Siqueira came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale. But to his dismay, Cássio do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. SeleSantos FC played a much better game than Icoara Football Club and deserved their victory. The Icoara Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
