In the 4th minute, FC WOUDOO's Hadrian Felber dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Afonso Nascimento in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC WOUDOO's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Nascimento in the 12th minute of play forced FC WOUDOO's goalkeeper Leon Schnorrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC WOUDOO getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gerlach Zischer hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Nascimento in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Schnorrer saved FC WOUDOO from getting behind. After a rather tough play, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Amadeu Porto got a free kick in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Hadrian Felber recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Fábio Viana. Hadrian Felber showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Luiz Fábio Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erich Gleißberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Afonso Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Schnorrer. FC WOUDOO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 29 minutes, Marcel Kähler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC WOUDOO and the S.C. Corinthians Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S.C. Corinthians Paulista booed when FC WOUDOO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Kähler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Guga Goiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Schnorrer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luiz Fábio Viana was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Ovid Meincke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ovid Meincke really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 38th minute, Erich Gleißberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by David Fernandez. 46 minutes into the game, one of FC WOUDOO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
The wind increased when Hadrian Felber made the kick off in the second half. Leon Schnorrer stood somewhat misplaced when Guga Goiano came free in front of goal and shot 3-3 to the left of him in the 55 minute. 58 minutes into the match, FC WOUDOO's goalkeeper Leon Schnorrer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Nascimento. After a rather tough play, FC WOUDOO's Erich Gleißberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. Leon Schnorrer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Nascimento in the 61st minute. Luiz Fábio Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hadrian Felber in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of S.C. Corinthians Paulista booed when FC WOUDOO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erich Gleißberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Porto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, one of S.C. Corinthians Paulista:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luiz Fábio Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erich Gleißberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Cássio Aparecido reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leon Schnorrer. The goal made the score 3-4. Luiz Fábio Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovid Meincke went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Guga Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Leon Schnorrer. FC WOUDOO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Guga Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Schnorrer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erich Gleißberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to FC WOUDOO getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gerlach Zischer hit a great ball. Hamílton Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Schnorrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S.C. Corinthians Paulista would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
