If Vladimír Osvald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michal Hlavička who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Henning Sæmer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaroslav Kůrka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A hard shot 13 in the game by Michal Hlavička from a close distance when the talented Henning Sæmer managed to make a qualified save. FC Nordsjælland's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the match, Luboš Váchal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer. Henning Sæmer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Hlavička in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Sæmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henning Sæmer didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Rohozec's Jaroslav Kůrka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitar Berbatov in the 23rd minute of play. Michal Hlavička could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Henning Sæmer made a huge save. In the 28th minute Vladimír Osvald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Sæmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milan Salát hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Luboš Váchal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Sæmer having to interfere. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mads Hansen hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Nygren made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitar Berbatov got free with Jaroslav Kůrka in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rohozec! Rohozec:s Jaroslav Kůrka showed great skill when he stopped Andreas Schjelderup:s penalty. Henning Sæmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimír Osvald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute of the match, Sindre Walle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jaroslav Kůrka was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. FC Nordsjælland were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Rohozec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Svensson took the corner. The corner ended in Dimitar Berbatov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rohozec's Jaroslav Kůrka did a great save. Luboš Váchal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Sæmer having to interfere. When Rohozec's Luboš Váchal in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Nordsjælland's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimír Osvald in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimír Osvald might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henning Sæmer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimír Osvald ran back to his position shaking his head. Dimitar Berbatov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslav Kůrka having to interfere. Sindre Walle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jaroslav Kůrka made a huge save. Michal Hlavička hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Luboš Váchal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rohozec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rohozec had played much better football throughout.
