In the 56th minute Virgilio Gauargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bartolo Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the PGE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Leoiar couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores de Lombroso's Benjamin Herrera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Merexildo. That made the score 1-3 after 61 minutes of play. If Bartolo Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Edi Cavani replaced Ramon Edur. PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save PGE FC from getting a goal against them. Pablo Viviano's late challenge caught a Defensores de Lombroso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Viviano helped the player get up and apologised. Rolando Merexildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Herrera in the 83rd minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Pelle Haglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pelle Haglund struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rolando Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Lombroso. Benjamin Herrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Merexildo having to make a save.
