Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartolo Leoiar started the match with the kick off. The PGE FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when PGE FC's Bartolo Leoiar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 7th minute, Virgilio Gauargi made a precise shot to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu. Carpathian Wolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, PGE FC's Virgilio Gauargi got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Gil Godoi hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. In the 14th minute, Virgilio Gauargi made a precise shot to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu. Carpathian Wolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Gil Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicodim Arghirescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Leoiar went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Godoi came free, but Nicodim Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, PGE FC's Mauro Odon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicodim Arghirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Nicodim Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute PGE FC were awarded a corner. Gil Godoi went to the cornerflag to take it. PGE FC's Gil Godoi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicodim Arghirescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 34th play minutes Bartolo Leoiar shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Nicodim Arghirescu and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Carpathian Wolves defense, Virgilio Gauargi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu. The Carpathian Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Arghirescu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Gauargi in the 44th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Nicodim Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half PGE FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the Carpathian Wolves defense, Gil Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu. The Carpathian Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Arghirescu should have stopped the shot. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Godoi in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, PGE FC's Mauro Odon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu got control of the ball when Virgilio Gauargi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Leoiar in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodim Arghirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Leoiar in the 64th minute of play. Nicodim Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Virgilio Gauargi scored 0-10 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicodim Arghirescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicodim Arghirescu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Nicodim Arghirescu got control of the ball when Bartolo Leoiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, PGE FC's Gil Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicodim Arghirescu. Nicodim Arghirescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Nicodim Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gil Godoi 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-13. Nicodim Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Leoiar in the 91st minute of play. When Bartolo Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the PGE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Leoiar couldn't finish the play.
