Jean dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelle Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Defensores de Lombroso were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jean dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Edi Cavani replaced Ramon Edur. A hard shot by Angelo Kaiet from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Jean dos Santos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Benjamin Herrera came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jean dos Santos could save by the left post. 88 minutes into the game, Benjamin Herrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Jean dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Herrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jean dos Santos made a huge save. Jean dos Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Herrera went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. When the match was over Defensores de Lombroso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Remedios SC throughout the match.
