With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Siwek in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naglis Jonušas saved Savage Hippo from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vytaras Liaudanskas during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Vytaras Liaudanskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mantvydas Silevičius hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Siwek came free, but Naglis Jonušas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naglis Jonušas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Mroczynski in the 22nd minute. Naglis Jonušas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Siwek in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jotautas Bakštys in the 30th minute of play forced MKS MŁAWA's goalkeeper Roman Oleszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredas Klenkys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Roman Oleszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes MKS MŁAWA got a freekick which was hit by Robert Puzio. Vaclovas Jacinaitis hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Alfredas Klenkys kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jotautas Bakštys to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, MKS MŁAWA's Roman Oleszak got control of the ball when Vaclovas Jacinaitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Mantvydas Silevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savage Hippo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mantvydas Silevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Mantvydas Silevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naglis Jonušas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Siwek in the 59th minute of the match. When Ksawery Ikalewicz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the MKS MŁAWA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ksawery Ikalewicz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, MKS MŁAWA's August Bruhn got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jotautas Bakštys in the 64th minute of play forced MKS MŁAWA's goalkeeper Roman Oleszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes MKS MŁAWA got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Fabra. A hard shot by Eduardas Girčius from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Roman Oleszak's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. MKS MŁAWA's Boruc Winszman got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Oleszak made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Vaclovas Jacinaitis sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Jotautas Bakštys fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roman Oleszak, passed just outside the right post. Vaclovas Jacinaitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Radomir Brzonkala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, MKS MŁAWA's goal looked a bit too open when Jotautas Bakštys came free, but Roman Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind MKS MŁAWA's goalkeeper Roman Oleszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Savage Hippo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MKS MŁAWA.
