Spectators: 7623 (Terracing: 5718, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramiro Cebrian started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Ermengol Cabrales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Quintyn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sagrario Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Lobo in the 6th minute of play. Leonides Quintyn made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ermengol Cabrales sent off a good shot on target. Sagrario Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Vicente Abaunza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Regresado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bento Arberas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 24th play minute Ermengol Cabrales came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonides Quintyn. 2-1. Ermengol Cabrales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Leonides Quintyn made a huge save. Regresado's Leonides Quintyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Regresado from getting a goal against them. Pepe Popeye scored 3-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Quintyn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermengol Cabrales who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Leonides Quintyn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Regresado's goalkeeper Leonides Quintyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermengol Cabrales. In the 45th match minute, Regresado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. Ermengol Cabrales came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonides Quintyn could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermengol Cabrales to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonides Quintyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Camus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Regresado's Leonides Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermengol Cabrales in the 56th minute of play. If Ermengol Cabrales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute of the match Joaquin Molina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Quintyn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Arnulfo Camus put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leonides Quintyn. Leonides Quintyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermengol Cabrales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zacarias Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Arnulfo Camus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Regresado's Leonides Quintyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Pepe Popeye cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Leonides Quintyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ermengol Cabrales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Quintyn having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Ermengol Cabrales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Quintyn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Leonides Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 88th minute of play. Arnulfo Camus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the CD Municipal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
