Carlos Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasos Aggeliou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutichios Psaris in the 9th minute of play forced Caxinha F. C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Aleksey Efimov made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Mendes. Caxinha F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Aleksey Efimov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carlos Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aleksey Efimov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carlos Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Aleksey Efimov made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Mendes. Carlos Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, Caxinha F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Markos Melisofagos came free, but Carlos Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Kolopetinitsa's Eutichios Psaris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Markos Melisofagos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caxinha F. C.'s Carlos Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eutichios Psaris in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The wind increased when Lucas Recife made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Caxinha F. C.'s Tarcisio Leme got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Nasos Aggeliou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolopetinitsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caxinha F. C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kolopetinitsa's Nasos Aggeliou got a free kick in the 69th minute. Carlos Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filippos Antoniou went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when Caxinha F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. After some careless play in the Caxinha F. C. defense, Eutichios Psaris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Mendes. The Caxinha F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Mendes should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Kolopetinitsa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caxinha F. C. throughout the match.
