The audience was convinced that Bertil Åström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Ersman was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Sven-Arne Stål scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Ola Löv, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pelle Barck hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Bertil Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zero Hedge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Örsundsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Odeen came free, but Karl Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Zero Hedge's Gabriel Odeen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Ersman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 41st minute, Melker Törnblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Örsundsbro defense, Bertil Åström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Ersman. The Örsundsbro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Ersman should have stopped the shot. Pelle Barck charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pelle Barck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Arne Stål to make the kick off. In the 79th minute, Tomas Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Bertil Åström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Ersman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Zero Hedge left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Örsundsbro.
