Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) FC DNV Bratiskava's Bohuš Dačev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl Ersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bohuš Dačev in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Bohuš Dačev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Karl Ersman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as FC DNV Bratiskava's Bohuš Dačev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl Ersman. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Karl Ersman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bohuš Dačev in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Ladislav Haluška got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl Ersman stood somewhat misplaced when Bohuš Dačev came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. In the 37th minute, Bohuš Dačev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Stanislav Božok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Arne Stål to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Adam Husák. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannes Heggert during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Örsundsbro's Karl Ersman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bohuš Dačev in the 60th minute of play. Bohuš Dačev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Karl Ersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Stanislav Božok managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC DNV Bratiskava's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislav Božok was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Ersman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bohuš Dačev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Ersman having to interfere. Marek Havran's late challenge caught a Örsundsbro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Havran helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Marek Havran. Karl Ersman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bohuš Dačev, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Bohuš Dačev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Karl Ersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Bohuš Dačev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Ersman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC DNV Bratiskava's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
