An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Sena in the 3rd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Anfilogino Di Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Breguete FC's Sidnei Mineiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anfilogino Di Santo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidnei Mineiro in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anfilogino Di Santo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breguete FC's Sidnei Mineiro pulled a muscle in his back after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 24 minutes, Alberto Andreola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdieri and the Breguete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Andreola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breguete FC's Luís Fernando Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Artur Pereira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anfilogino Di Santo. The goal made the score 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Forte came free, but Claudinei Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Luís Fernando Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anfilogino Di Santo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anfilogino Di Santo should have stopped the shot. Breguete FC's Luís Fernando Porto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 43rd minute, Breguete FC's Edmílson Trigo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anfilogino Di Santo. Anfilogino Di Santo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. 47 minutes into the game, Edmílson Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Anfilogino Di Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fernando Porto made a kick off. If Antonio Forte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Armandinho Sena notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Valdieri's Anfilogino Di Santo. Anfilogino Di Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Berardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Luís Fernando Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Di Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anfilogino Di Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Alfonso Aloisi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 70 minutes into the game, Breguete FC's Edmílson Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anfilogino Di Santo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. 73 minutes into the match, Armandinho Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anfilogino Di Santo. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armandinho Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Anfilogino Di Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Sena in the 85th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Anfilogino Di Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Armandinho Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Di Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anfilogino Di Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Trigo in the 90th minute of the match. Anfilogino Di Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Armandinho Sena's late challenge caught a Valdieri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armandinho Sena helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the Breguete FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
