In the 12th minute, Casper Ottens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Les Presidents FC's James Madison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Tuhuteru in the 14th minute of play. Ferdi Reis spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Les Presidents FC's goal. In the 17th minute, Ferdi Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. James Madison was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. James Madison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Springplank FC's Mathieu Schophuis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. James Madison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Springplank FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Holder Behnert hit a great ball. Mario Benitez succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Jim Kamps was a little too slow when Mario Benitez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 36th match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resulhan Özdoruk to maneuver through the defense. The Springplank FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Springplank FC's Ferdi Reis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Les Presidents FC's James Madison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Tuhuteru in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Les Presidents FC booed when Springplank FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niels-Jan Drok didn't get a good kick on the ball. James Madison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Reis to make the kick off. When Ferdi Reis fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Springplank FC's protests and gave Ferdi Reis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Ferdi Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Arnout Lembeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of James Madison. Les Presidents FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnout Lembeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-8. In the 78th minute Ferdi Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Madison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Arnout Lembeck could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which James Madison however easily saved by the left post. In the 81st minute, Marcus Tuhuteru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of James Madison. The goal made the score 2-11. 87 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goalkeeper James Madison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnout Lembeck. With a little luck, Les Presidents FC's James Madison got control of the ball when Holder Behnert tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Niels-Jan Drok cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-12. James Madison was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Springplank FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
