After taking down the ball on Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's corner Claudinho Chaves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oséas Albuquerque quite easily take care of the ball. Juarês Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Oséas Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Melo in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Gerber. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeu Arruda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juarês Cunha hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Paraíba came free, but Oséas Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Claudinho Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Claudinho Chaves got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
