Wilian Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Jukatriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Gerber to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Amadeu Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilian Quadros. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Falcão made a kick off. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Raimundo Travassos scored to the left of an out of position Wilian Quadros, making the score, 2-3. After 59 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Cearense. After recieving a nice pass, Jukatriz's Juarês Cunha tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, João Augusto Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jukatriz the free kick. Jukatriz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilian Quadros acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Juarês Cunha.
