The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Roberto Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matan Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Moisés Dracena took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cesar Romelio to make any attempt to save it. Ernesto Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Moisés Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Cesar Romelio. Gladiadores's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haridades F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gladiadores the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Haridades F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Souza to maneuver through the defense. When Jesus Lluis fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gladiadores's protests and gave Jesus Lluis a yellow card for diving instead. Jesus Lluis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Coelho in the 26th minute of play forced Gladiadores's goalkeeper Cesar Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Romelio came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Haridades F.C's Moisés Dracena. But to his dismay, Moisés Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Matan Brito scored 4-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldinho Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Lluis in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Haridades F.C's Moisés Dracena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cesar Romelio. Cesar Romelio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. 47 minutes into the game, Moisés Dracena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cesar Romelio. Moisés Dracena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

61 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Lluis. Luís Eduardo Souza took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Romelio. Cesar Romelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 72 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Souza came free, but Cesar Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldinho Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Haridades F.C's Luís Eduardo Souza got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Haridades F.C's Ernesto Coelho got a free kick in the 85th minute. Haridades F.C's Roberto Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Gladiadores defense, Moisés Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Romelio. The Gladiadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Romelio should have stopped the shot.
