The referee ignored El Golden Volvió!'s protests and gave Claudio Biaggio a yellow card for diving instead. Internacional Pechofrío's Emil Zátopek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Internacional Pechofrío from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harrison McCann in the 6th minute of play forced El Golden Volvió!'s goalkeeper Franco Costanzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viking Lo Russo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Harrison McCann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Golden Volvió!'s Franco Costanzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Viking Lo Russo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emil Zátopek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. El Golden Volvió!'s Franco Costanzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrison McCann in the 20th minute of play. Emil Zátopek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Naldo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jesús Blanco made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Viking Lo Russo however managed to control. In the 26th minute Venceslao Solares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Costanzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Emil Zátopek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viking Lo Russo. The supporters of Internacional Pechofrío booed when El Golden Volvió! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Biaggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Golden Volvió!'s Franco Costanzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrison McCann in the 30th minute of play. Franco Costanzo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional Pechofrío's Harrison McCann. But to his dismay, Harrison McCann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hipolito Lugo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Naldo in the 36th minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Emil Zátopek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Viking Lo Russo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emil Zátopek, 2-1. After a rather tough play, El Golden Volvió!'s Cristobal Gartxot got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Biaggio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Naldo in the 52nd minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Emil Zátopek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Costanzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslao Solares in the 53rd minute of play. Franco Costanzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrison McCann, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Marcos Orlanda fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Golden Volvió!'s protests and gave Marcos Orlanda a yellow card for diving instead. Emil Zátopek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viking Lo Russo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Rosendo Naldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Zátopek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Internacional Pechofrío getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Venceslao Solares hit a great ball. Viking Lo Russo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Zátopek having to interfere. Emil Zátopek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Orlanda in the 78th minute of the match. Lino Mederi made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Internacional Pechofrío's Hipolito Lugo. Jesús Blanco made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Viking Lo Russo however managed to control. Franco Costanzo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Harrison McCann sent off a good shot on target. El Golden Volvió! walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
