Emil Zátopek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico de Sousa came free, but Emil Zátopek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Harrison McCann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internacional Pechofrío's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harrison McCann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Emil Zátopek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Araújo in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Internacional Pechofrío was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Castillo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Internacional Pechofrío's zone, Eurico de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Zátopek came out of the goal and Eurico de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fernandinho Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the MengãOShowS - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Corrêa couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Harrison McCann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felo Gochicoa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Internacional Pechofrío had won, even though MengãOShowS - FDFDF had held more of the ball.
