Haridades F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóvão Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Renatinho de Castro took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Ronaldinho Pernambucano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ernesto Coelho hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes of play, America Futebol Clube SP's Cristóvão Veloso made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Eduardo Souza during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Souza in the 18th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When America Futebol Clube SP's Cristóvão Veloso in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 23rd minute of the match Luiz Paulo Albuquerque shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Gonçalo de Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Haridades F.C's Moisés Dracena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristóvão Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Pernambucano having to interfere. Cafu Pinheiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. America Futebol Clube SP's Luiz Paulo Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerson Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ronaldinho Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some careless play in the Haridades F.C defense, Luiz Paulo Albuquerque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. The Haridades F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldinho Pernambucano should have stopped the shot. Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Veloso in the 70th minute of play. After 84th play minutes Renatinho de Castro shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Ronaldinho Pernambucano and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as America Futebol Clube SP's Luiz Paulo Albuquerque slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. That made the score 0-9 after 92 minutes of play. America Futebol Clube SP played a much better game than Haridades F.C and deserved their victory. The Haridades F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
