After having played for 45 minutes, Genaro Jordy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Jordy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Enéas Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Jordy. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Jordy got free with Enéas Arruda in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Tirense F.C.'s zone, Baldomiro Maria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Arruda came out of the goal and Baldomiro Maria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Carlos Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
