Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arno Luuk got the match started through his kick off. Egil Örnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pogi Hanson in the 8th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes, FC Dundee's Pudes Figueres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egil Örnberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Dundee reached it. Arno Luuk scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egil Örnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Pudes Figueres got a free kick in the 17th minute. Pogi Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Örnberg having to interfere. In the 21st minute Arno Luuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Örnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Hristo Botev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Örnberg. The Wild Bunch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hristo Botev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. FC Dundee's Arno Luuk got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Arno Luuk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Egil Örnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arno Luuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pudes Figueres kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Egil Örnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Luuk in the 47th minute of play. Ingvar Tholsson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Sandell was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Arno Luuk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egil Örnberg. Arno Luuk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 58 minutes into the match, Pogi Hanson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egil Örnberg, 0-6. Sven Seitse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Örnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pogi Hanson went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the match, Sven Seitse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Örnberg. The Wild Bunch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Seitse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Arno Luuk sped through The Wild Bunch's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egil Örnberg. Sven Seitse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Wild Bunch's Egil Örnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pogi Hanson in the 77th minute of play. Pogi Hanson took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egil Örnberg. Egil Örnberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. 81 minutes into the game, Arno Luuk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egil Örnberg. Arno Luuk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. After a defensive mix-up in The Wild Bunch's zone, Hristo Botev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Örnberg came out of the goal and Hristo Botev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egil Örnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Luuk in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Arno Luuk made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. The Wild Bunch's Egil Örnberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Arno Luuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Örnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. When the match was over FC Dundee could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Wild Bunch throughout the match.
