The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Zahemski came free, but Eliézer Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Zahemski in the 7th minute of the match. If Piotr Zahemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Karbowski came free, but Eliézer Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazimierz Swoboda kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Victor Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguaiana's zone, Eugeniusz Bugajski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer Recife came out of the goal and Eugeniusz Bugajski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliézer Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Zahemski in the 23rd minute of the match. Kacper Karbowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Onyx's Kacper Karbowski got a free kick in the 29th minute. Eliézer Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Zahemski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kacper Karbowski took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliézer Recife. Eliézer Recife dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th match minute, Onyx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kacper Karbowski to maneuver through the defense. Eliézer Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Zahemski, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 41 minutes, Valdo Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguaiana and the Onyx players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Onyx booed when Uruguaiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Onyx's Wojciech Barycz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliézer Recife made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wágner Reis was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Eliézer Recife managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Onyx's Piotr Zahemski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Zahemski in the 53rd minute of play forced Uruguaiana's goalkeeper Eliézer Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Uruguaiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Eliézer Recife made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Kacper Karbowski sent off a good shot on target. Uruguaiana's Eliézer Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Zahemski in the 63rd minute of play. Uruguaiana made a substitution. Bruninho Lima replaced Bruninho de Barros. Eliézer Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wojciech Barycz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Filip Swoboda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Varela in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Karbowski came free, but Eliézer Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Onyx's Wojciech Barycz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliézer Recife. That made the score 0-8 after 88 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Uruguaiana's Aníbal Varela got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over Onyx could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Uruguaiana throughout the match.
