Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) Philip Aelgoet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Ricki Martín came free, but Remus Talianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Talianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricki Martín in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Ricki Martín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Talianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Lutanu getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Felix Panduru hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricki Martín in the 11th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Remus Talianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Panduru charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Panduru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Remus Talianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricki Martín in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Esquirla FC got a corner. FC Lutanu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurens Van Aken ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Remus Talianu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquirla FC's Ricki Martín. But to his dismay, Ricki Martín quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Remus Talianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricki Martín in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Philip Aelgoet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitri Huijbreghts. Esquirla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Aelgoet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricki Martín in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Talianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dimitri Huijbreghts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Philip Aelgoet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Remus Talianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricki Martín, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricki Martín in the 46th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Remus Talianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Aelgoet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the FC Lutanu defense, Ricki Martín kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remus Talianu. The FC Lutanu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Talianu should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Remus Talianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's Kasper Viskens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remus Talianu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when FC Lutanu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Rivard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Dedé van Beek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Panduru in the 70th minute of play. Philip Aelgoet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricki Martín got free with Remus Talianu in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Panduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Dimitri Huijbreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Panduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ricki Martín came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Esquirla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricki Martín couldn't finish the play. Patrick Rivard's late challenge caught a Esquirla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Rivard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Patrick Rivard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Talianu made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ricki Martín sent off a good shot on target.
