After a rather tough play, Saiko FC's Leandro Garcia got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Saiko FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gustavo Trevisan hit a great ball. Horacio Iztal scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giuseppe de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Generoso Sasoin came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Leandro Garcia. But to his dismay, Leandro Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wanderson Trigo's late challenge caught a Gloria Verdinegra AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. Wanderson Trigo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Saiko FC's Giuseppe de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Berasko in the 15th minute of play. During the 15th minute of the match Wanderson Trigo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wanderson Trigo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Wanderson Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goalkeeper Generoso Sasoin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cacá do Vale hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Augusto Lizar struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Giuseppe de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gloria Verdinegra AFC. The coaching staff of Saiko FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustavo Trevisan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Saiko FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gloria Verdinegra AFC:s goal. In the 33rd minute, Matias Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saiko FC's Giuseppe de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Saiko FC from getting a goal against them.
