Leandro Garcia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Sérgio Falcão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Sérgio Falcão managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Saiko FC's Leandro Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute Ian Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Pedro Nóbrega hit a great ball. Leandro Garcias short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Sérgio Falcão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leandro Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Falcão having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Giuseppe de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Aguiar in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Saiko FC's Wanderson Trigo got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Paraibano came free, but Giuseppe de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saiko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wanderson Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ronaldo Braga fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hyper9 -DMZ-'s protests and gave Ronaldo Braga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Ronaldo Braga got a free kick in the 77th minute. Leandro Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Saiko FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Saiko FC's Leandro Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Sérgio Falcão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saiko FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hyper9 -DMZ- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
