If Damian Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 4th match minute, Rathmore Lime Tree was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Émile Brien to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Iratze in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sofyane Valognes saved Rathmore Lime Tree from getting behind. Rigoberto Iratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sofyane Valognes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Iratze ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Santos Rojas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoît Lamarre in the 18th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Angelo Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Sofyane Valognes managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Les Tigres's Rigoberto Iratze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the game, Damian Rojas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sofyane Valognes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albano Esiquio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sofyane Valognes made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Hervé Annette came free, but Angelo Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Albano Esiquio hit a great ball. Les Tigres's Angelo Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benoît Lamarre in the 38th minute of play. Romulo Lizar hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavian Garcon made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Iratze to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Honoré Villot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandon Pardon hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Moises Rojas struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sofyane Valognes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les Tigres. In the 61st minute, Benoît Lamarre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sofyane Valognes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavian Garcon in the 69th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Angelo Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rathmore Lime Tree booed when Les Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes, Romulo Lizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Tigres and the Rathmore Lime Tree players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Lizar. After having played for 82 minutes, Albano Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Esiquio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Iratze came free, but Sofyane Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Rigoberto Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes in the game Johan Dufrenne did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hervé Annette. In the 92nd minute Rigoberto Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Les Tigres fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rathmore Lime Tree had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
