Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paul Raoult kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by PERSPOLIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paolo-César Maldini was slow to take the kick. During this time 11ABRASIL's players had a chance to rest. After 9 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Paul Raoult. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Swiderski in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes PERSPOLIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paolo-César Maldini who took care of the corner kick. The corner led 11ABRASIL's Paolo-César Maldini to fire away a dangerous shot which Gianluigi Donnarumma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Szczepan Furgat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PERSPOLIS booed when 11ABRASIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Furgat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, 11ABRASIL's goalkeeper Dino Zoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Curcio Amer. Szczepan Furgat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Donnarumma having to interfere. In the 31st minute, PERSPOLIS's Curcio Amer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Szczepan Furgat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Roberto-Carlos Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Furgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Patryk Witkowski made the kick off in the second half. Myles Powderham hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Gianluigi Donnarumma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paul Raoult struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Dino Zoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PERSPOLIS. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Curcio Amer in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Zoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PERSPOLIS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arash Lara in the 63rd minute. Curcio Amer was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Amer in the 64th minute of play. Carlitos Belalcaraz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Szczepan Furgat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Swiderski. When 11ABRASIL's Szczepan Furgat in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PERSPOLIS's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, 11ABRASIL's Edward Niedzwiecki got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dino Zoff had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Paul Raoult's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Raoult in the 94th minute of play. Gianluigi Donnarumma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Szczepan Furgat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 97 minute of play.
