Brain van der Laan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makis Tselementes having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Jhonny Evans had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vassilis Banasidis during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chandozos made a substitution. Miliano Brion replaced Jhonny Evans. Dominic Cavite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Banasidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panos Mastrantoniou came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dominic Cavite could save by the left post. In the 34th match minute, Chandozos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Suarbol to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Voutsas to maneuver through the defense. Chandozos's Dominic Cavite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilleas Vasilatos in the 42nd minute of play. Francesco Suarbol hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogenis Priovolos was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Aris Voutsas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Cavite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Mastrantoniou scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dominic Cavite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute Diogenis Priovolos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Cavite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Leonid Arnãut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uygur Umuralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes, Alexis Stratigakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΠΑΟΚ FC and the Chandozos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Stratigakis. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
