In the 16th minute Michel Drogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Godofredo Arixo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Michel Drogba charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Theobald in the 42nd minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Décio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Michel Drogba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Tabby having to interfere. Décio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Gaskon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LACELESTEYBLANCA's Luciano Polo got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Michel Drogba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Décio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Theobald in the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Michel Drogba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Tabby was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. A collision led to LACELESTEYBLANCA getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Honorio Galo hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's Michel Rüdiger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Tabby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evaristo Tabby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Aaron Heriberto hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The ADM Taquaras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ADM Taquaras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
