An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Faria in the 15th minute of play forced Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper Ismael Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaguar Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in New England Patriots's zone, Gustavo Hotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdomiro Nunes came out of the goal and Gustavo Hotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Claudinho Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New England Patriots's protests and gave Claudinho Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 minutes of play, Pakorro AFC's Jaguar Murillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdomiro Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jaguar Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Jaguar Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Valdomiro Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaguar Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Pakorro AFC played a much better game than New England Patriots and deserved their victory. The New England Patriots players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
